Couldn't agree more with Kim's comments so much so that we already have transparent billing and share commission with clients. We are able to do this owing to the skills set in the company which ensures value is added to all events we are involved with. The client therefore sees us creating, delivering and managing the event, not merely acting as a handler. It is amazing how many event managers there are who have no hospitality or managerial exeperience--how can they possibly raise standards in the industry or present a professional image?
